The history that we live is completely different from the history that occurred in the world. After The Great War had continued for 50 years, the world was divided into two: The Great Asian Federal Commonwealth and the European Union. At the close of The Long Battle, The Great Asian Federal Commonwealth came to power in the entire Eurasian continent. However, that which was gained in this victory was the ruin of the human spirit--as chemical and biological weapons, D.U. weaponry, virii, and radiation aftereffects were the ruin of the land. Does humanity sit on its collective ass, accepting demise? Is there no path to salvation? Dr. Higashi is the man with the plan. He seeks assistance from the scientific community for his 'full-body spontaneous regeneration 'Shinzou-Saibou [new cell structure]'' theory. He will stop at nothing to use his research, as his wife, Ms. Midori, suffers from serious illness. The Hygienic Ministry dismisses the theory of the doctor, snatching away his vested credentials. But, research commences with the assistance of army authorized personnel, who want to use the theory for selfish desire. And so--through fate or man's bidding--this newly structured human is born from the test site. Humanity has stepped into God's territory. So this 'Shinzou-Saibou,' which humanity had hoped would be his salvation, has set humanity on the path to its demise... |
