Som is a student while band is drug dealer. Under normal circumstances, they shouldn't be attracted to each other but the have a shared loneliness and need for money. Bank is a dropout who wastes his days in his dilapidated flat with a mother who neglects him and is unaware of his drug habit. Som appears to be a typical co-ed student working her way through school and sending money to her parents- but she's not all she seems: by night she works hard as a prostitute. The pair quickly falls in love and Bank steps up his drug dealing activities so that Som can stop working. However, his rish increases exponentially with the volume of drugs he handles. It seems that Bank and Som are leading Parallel lives headed in the same direction: oblivion. |
