The tale of a blind traveling masseur whose humble facade hides his secret identity as Zatoichi, a lightning-fast master swordsman. When Zatoichi lands in a town run by sinister gangs and a ruthless samurai, he crosses paths with two beautiful geishas avenging their parents' murder. Japanese director/actor Kitano Takeshi finds himself back at the forefront of both domestic and international film worlds with his newest film 'Zatoichi'! It's humorous, ultra violent, and immensely more accessible to a general audience than his earlier films.
