Paul Ko (Louis Koo) is a reputable policeman dogged by rumors that he's sexually impotent. Carrie Wat (Sammi Cheng), a top magazine reporter, decides to investigate the gossip and finds that she develops an attraction to the cop during her interview. But Carrie starts to lose faith when she learns that Paul is unable to satisfy her. Meanwhile, Raymond (Lau Ching Wan), a flirtatious lawyer, who happens to be Carrie's ex-lover, becomes bored with his life as a judge in the magistrate court. He's offered a promotion to high court - provided he behaves during his probation period. While handling a case, he meets a pretty 18-year old girl, Tabbie, and they fall in love instantly. But Raymond needs to hold his temptation for his long-awaited promotion. |
