SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Yellow Flower |
Act 1: Thirty-Martyrdom of Modernity In Act 1, the man and woman consents to have ony sex, without eating or doing anything else. Their sex is raw. Their stolen money is offered to the streets as appeasement until only one paper bill is left in their possession. Even this, they donate to the streets. Their last sex act, before they die, is raw. Under the eaves of the ancient palace where they first met, they are baptized in a shower of bullets. Act 2: Nineteen - If not Satire, Nirvana In Act 2, the man and woman continually promises to live only until twenty. They sniff glue, dance, and have sex with a friend of a friend. These nineteen-year olds agree to live life their own way, unlike the older geezers and hags they detest. In the end, they also die. They try hard to meet death while in an inverted position. This resembles a certain enlightened monk who died while standing upside down. |
