Augustin is an obscure actor of small movie parts and a dedicated fan of Chinese martial arts' films. His ambition is to play the lead in one of these heroic fantasies. So he decides to move into the Chinese community in Paris and live like a Chinese. There he meets Ling, an expatriate Chinese woman who dispenses acupuncture treatment. Ling's needles awaken emotions in Augustin that his virginal body had never dreamed of. How far will this take him towards his dreams? |
