Fat Choi Spirit revolves around a mahjong player who has claimed a reputation as 'The Saint of Mahjong'. Wing Kei is an annoying female mahjong gambler who continuously bugs him for his attention... Tak Wah's brother, Tin Lok, who objects to his brother's way of life, decides to set out on his own, and live with his girlfriend. Coincidentally, his girlfriend, Choi Yee, is a con person who, with her pet brother Ching Wan, plan to con Tin Lok of his money. Tin Lok stands by Choi Yee despite her ill doings, and eventually wins her heart. They create a new form of the mahjong game which receives good response. Things seem to be going well for Tak Wah, until Wing Kei, out of bitterness, curses Tak Wah so that he loses his mahjong skills. Down on his luck as it may seem, Tak Wah endures this dilemma and perseveres to help his brother promote his new game, which has received interest from a TV station. Their relationship is reconciled at this collaboration, and Tak Wah eventually regains his skills. |
