Hing opened his own auto shop in Wanchai when he was seventeen. He was a man who liked to fight against injustice, and therefore befriended wiht all sorts of people, including triad members. Hing became famous in the area, many shops, clubs and restaurants came to Hing for protection against harassment from the triads. A mob in Wanchai wanted to make a drug deal in one of the restaurants protected by Hing, but Hing refused to cooperate, and expelled the mob out of Wanchai. Finally, Hing was shot to death. |
