Love and loyalty tears apart a circle of high school friends in this coming of age drama from Taiwan set in the late 1990's. Cheng Hsi-yen (Rhydian Vaughan) is a Big Man on Campus and the star hitter on his school's baseball team, and he's the unofficial but unquestioned leader of his circle of friends. Hsi-yen is dating a pretty girl named Hsiao Yun (Jennifer Chu) who adores him, and has befriended Hsiao Tang (Chang Cheh), a quiet, studious boy who looks up to the slugger. |
