DVD release of the film Chohatsu Daikaiju Gehara (Long Haired Giant Monster: Gehara) created by NHK, Jun Miura, and Shinji Higuchi of Gamera: Guardian of the Universe. In Ishikawa prefecture, mysterious incidents occur frequently and there is always a bundle of long creepy hair left behind. Newspaper reporter Hideo Akihara is so interested in the story on the news and rushes to the hospital where a survivor of the incident is hospitalized. The survivor is hairless. . . By inquiry, Hideo stumbles across a shrine named Gehara and knows about the monster Gehara. On the other hand, monster Gehara appears in Kanazawa city and is engaged in mortal combat with defense forces. . . |
