DVD release of the film "Kamogawa Horumo" starring Takayuki Yamada, Sei Ashina, Chiaki Kuriyama, and more. Abe is a freshman student at Kyoto University who falls in love with a classmate named Kyoko, and joins the same club with her without thinking. This club is known as the "Kyodai (Kyoto University) Seiryu Kai," which participates in a game called Horumo. It is an ancient game that players control oni (devil) and pit them against the oni of rival teams. The mysterious game started over 1,200 years ago in the Heian Period. Soon the 2,000 oni wage wars battles in the city of Kyoto. |
