SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - The Magic Hour |
Satoshi overhears that Toshiyuki is looking for an elusive hitman, and in a moment of brilliance, he pretends to know the hitman and promises to bring him in. Toshiyuki gives him five days to do so, or else. Having no idea how to find the hitman, Satoshi instead hires a no-name actor (Koichi Sato) to play the hitman. He cons Koichi into believing he is starring as the hitman in his new movie, and the plot takes an interesting turn when Koichi plays the role so convincingly that the boss decides to hire him. Of course, this facade can't go on forever, and Satoshi's hapless efforts to keep up his lies are the main source of laughter. Koichi's lovable gullibility and Toshiyuki's big hearted generosity are also played up in an endearing fashion. |
