SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Sword In The Moon |
After the In jo Deposition destroyed the Chosun Dynasty, an elite military unit called "Cheong Pung Myeong Weol" was founded to insure a peaceful reign. Ji Hwan and Gyu Yup, the best swordsmen in this elite unit pledged their lives to each other as they grew to be close firneds. But as another deposition occurs, Gyu Yup is forced to kill his master, Kim In, and Ji Hwan. After Gyu Yup`s attack, Ji Hwan is left with a wooden fish that he gave to Gyu Yup as a gift. 5 years later, Gyu Yup gains the name "Butcher" as his reputation grows as a cruel and cold military officer. Suddenly, an assassin strikes and kills those who planned the deposition. While chasing this elusive assassin, Gyu Yup finds a sword carved with the inscription "Cheong Pung Myeong Wol" and becomes convinced that the assassin is his long lost friend, Ji Hwan. |
