Ten months after the death of top-secret cop Chen Yong Ren (Tony Leung), his triad counterpart Liu Jian Ming (Andy Lau) still works un-discovered as a mole within the high priority department of the police headquarters. Unhappy with his trivial everyday assignments his family life also stands in ruins and he is not even allowed to visit his own daughter. Upon first glance Liu smells that something is wrong after newcomer Yang Jin Rong (Leon Lai) steps into the police department. Believing that Yang is a mole he tries to nail him however high the costs are risking that his own identity may be unveiled! |
