The year, 1957. Tokyo. The masses stand shocked at a wave of murders involving young girls. The daughter of a retired actress goes missing, and she hires an investigator named Inoki to discover the truth. Meanwhile, an author and a reporter pursue the truth behind a religious group claiming the power to seal misfortune inside a box. On the other hand a policeman looks into the truth behind an enormous box-shaped building. All four meet at a the office of a purveyor of antique books, where they attempt to solve the horrible truth behind these three cases and their relation to boxes. |
