Mary comes back to Hong Kong from Beijing to start her own life. Mary meets Peter, the scion of a rich family. Peter falls in love with her. But he sends flowers with no marriage because he is fearful of marrying beneath himself. That makes Mary unhappy and frustrated. Peter is dismissed from her life. Kuoway enters the picture. The newly divorced returnee from England starts to help Mary. However he has made the mistake of pretending to patch things up with his ex-wife. And Mary is not the one to steal husband. So, Mary keeps on in her quest for her own identity and future. |
