SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Funny Family (Golden Harvest Movies) |
Donny and Amy were neighbours living in the countryside. Donny's father and Amy's mother both came from a kung fu family, but were at war and forbade their children to come together. Donny and Amy were forced to go to the city. Donny had to look for his mother who left home long ago; Amy was hoping to reunite with her father. Donny's mother and Amy's father - Old Ian, then married after they came to the town. Old Ian opened a sporting good shop and had been doing a fine business until three years ago, he was challenged by a Japanese sporting goods company. His business went nosedive because he had been losing the annual sports contest to the Japanese company consecutively for three years and suffered from a bad publicity created by the boss of the Japanese, Pete. When Donny and Amy learned about this, they offered to help and participate in the sports contest. Old Ian even went into an agreement with Pete to bet on their shop...... |
