The 36th Chamber of Shaolin(aka: Master Killer) (1978) This is the story of how Shaolin kung fu was first introduced to oppressed Chinese (Gordon Liu) by a lowly young man trained at Shaolin Temple who becomes known as the legendary monk San Te (Gordon Liu).
Return to the 36th Chamber (aka:Return of Master Killer) (1980) Disgruntled dye factory workers hire Chu Jen-chieh (Gordon Liu), a conman to pose as famous Shaolin monk and kung fu expert San Te in order to stop their wages from being cut. But when the ruse is uncovered, their only hope is in Chu's efforts to sneak into Shaolin Temple in order to learn real kung fu.

"It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. People from all walks of life should see this movie. We see common fighting in many movies. But this movie picturises how a lesson is taught, step by step to a person and he is becoming a Kung-fu expert."
