'Always On My Mind' 1993 is about self-discovery of a man after being diagnosed with an incurable disease. Michael Hui plays the title role as the coward newscaster-turned-opportunistic-moneygrubber, with much help from his 'beloved' family. 'Always On My Mind' is a vicious satire that exposes the media industry as somewhat fraudulent, weak, and shallow. All these end up to a rare comedy with a refined combination of laughter's with tears and happiness with sorrow. |
