Front Page looks at the situation in the 90s when gossip tabloids adopt the unashamed pursuit of sex and nudity, or just fabricate scandals if they don't exist. As the boss of a collapsing magazine, Hui (Michael Hui) unwillingly recruits the service of a street-smart, ex-boxer Bill (Sam Hui) and Fly (Ricky Hui), a lame-brained photographer to uncover a scandal of a rising starlet who is to marry the richest man in Hong Kong. The job however becomes different when Bill finds himself helplessly attracted to her innocence and kindness. The trio (the three Hui Brothers) goes through a moral dilemma and finally emerges triumphantly over an odyssey of conflict, love and adventure |
