SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Chicken And Duck Talk |
Disaster strikes old Hui (Michael Hui), the owner of a traditional restaurant, when the chicken wages war against the duck. Old Hui's restaurant is famous for its barbecued duck. His success made him rude to its customers and mean to his staff. His shopfront is a mess. Retribution comes when an American-style fast food outlet, Danny's Fried Chicken, opens right across with a lot of fanfare. His customers and faithful head of staff defect to the new rival. To fight back Hui starts a battle of food and culture between the East and the West; his selfishness and wants to reconcile. |
