SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - The Tigers |
Uncle's Tien is a senior detective whose group of hot shot criminal busters include adolescent smart asses Ming, nicknamed "Thief" ($=Andy Lau$$), and Snake, nicknamed "Dandruff" ($=Tony Leung Chiu-Wai$$), family man Hwa ($=Miu Kiu-wei$$) and straight arrow Pang ($=Felix Wong Yat-wah$$). One night on a drug raid, Tien comes across his former brother-in-law Tung ($=Ken Tong$$), who takes advantage of Tien's hesitation to escape, leaving a case of money behind. Thief and Dandruff grab the case, and decide to keep it when Hwa is shot. Thus begins the downward spiral that drags the cops and their world into tragedy. Philip Chan (Hard-Boiled) is their commander, and Irene Wan is Tien's daughter, who is also Thief's girl.
