Featuring a popular cast from the Mandarin and Cantonese cinema, this outstanding comedy was a huge box office success in the early 60s and span two official sequels, not to mention tens of imitations, subsequently. The Odd Couple of the film are the Cantonese-speaking Liang Xingbo and the Mandarin-speaking Liu Enjia. Not only are they business rivals but they also share the same apartment. However, dialect and cultural differences keep the two tailors constantly at war.
