SYNOPSIS / Editorial Review about - Modern Boy |
His country's been colonized, but caddish Lee Hae Myung (Park Hae Il) couldn't care less as long as life is good. With Seoul hurling forward into modernity, Hae Myung and his Japanese buddy Shinsuke (Kim Nam Gil) have little to complain about as they swing away at dance halls in their suave suits, picking up equally modern gals. Hae Myung's well-heeled life takes some rather abrupt turns though after he falls head over heels for ravishing bar girl Laura (Kim Hye Su), a mysterious siren who runs off with all his money. |
